Well, today we realised that we have been a Jersey Wedding Planner in this wonderful island for exactly 6 months, having boarded the Condor Liberation with a packed car and a little trepidation on 31st March.
In order to celebrate our semi-anniversary we thought we would share with you a lovely bridal photo shoot we did back in June, along with some wonderful new Jersey colleagues and friends.
It was a ‘two centre’ affair in that we shot in a stunning garden in Trinity (above) and later at Jersey Heritage’s Mont Orgueil Castle demonstrating the ruggedness of the fabulous coastline in Gorey (below).
Our colour palette was an elegant, yet gentle, ivory, navy, blush and gold.
We were lucky enough to work with some of Jersey’s finest wedding suppliers and a couple of off island gems too.
Firstly, thank you to Marquee Solutions for lending us furniture.
Our stationery was designed by Ananya Cards who have bases in both London and the island. The blush and ivory set is so pretty, with the navy still relaxed, yet that little more sophisticated.
Our florist, Wilde Thyme created the most beautiful bouquets, table centres and ‘light touches’, fitting perfectly with the gorgeous gardens and suiting the dresses exactly.
The Bridal Boutique provided two beautiful gowns, showing completely different looks: a lacy Pronovias dress and a sleek creation by Alan Hannah. They also lent us this glittery navy evening dress for one of the bridesmaids’ looks; the other, blush, gown being one of Maids To Measure‘s fabulous creations.
The fabulous Kate Nielen was our hugely artistic and talented photographer.
We would like to thank everyone who took part in this shoot and Fly Away Bride for featuring it recently.
As a Jersey Wedding Planner we aim to assist and advise couples both from Jersey and from elsewhere wishing to marry in Jersey.
