Sally and Ben’s beach wedding in Jersey was just beautiful. These guys were my first Jersey wedding couple, so apart from being absolutely delightful people, with fabulous friends and family, they will always have a special place in my heart.
Living and working in London, but both having grown up here in Jersey, Sally was keen to have someone bridge the gap and work with all the suppliers here to pull the day together.
We met in London, as I am often back for work, and I met her lovely Mum, Caroline, back here.
Sally and Ben were very chilled and not even especially worried about it possibly raining a bit on the day.
Needless to say, probably because they weren’t stressed about it, far from raining it was the perfect sunny, slightly windy day whilst we set up in the morning, then became a glorious, warm, perfect wedding day.
After a lovely ceremony on their favourite beach at Ouaisne Bay, everyone caught the buses to the stunning marquee venue Domaine des Vaux, for whom this was their first wedding.
Marquee Solutions, who manage the garden venue, ensured the astonishingly beautiful garden was shown off as much as possible.
The talented Eden By Claire cleverly designed understated arrangements and installations, thus further showing off the gardens.
Harpers kept everyone well fed and watered and the couple made great use of the various hidden and secret parts of the garden for their guests to walk in, play games in and generally chill out.
Jersey Bounce finished the day off perfectly by getting and keeping everyone on the dance floor.
Wishing you a wonderful first married Christmas Sally and Ben.
Thank you so much Max Burnett and Ollie Jones, The Studio_M for the beautiful images.
